No factionalism in Congress: HC Mahadevappa
MYSURU: District minister HC Mahadevappa used the special interaction programme between public representatives and government scheme beneficiaries, Jana Mana, on Saturday to hit out at opposition parties. The minister, who inaugurated the programme organised by the department of information and public relations at Kalamandira, said BJP and JDS coalition governments failed due to instability and three chief ministers changed in the previous BJP government due to internal differences.
“But Congress with clean and transparent government has succeeded in fulfilling all the promises given to the people in the manifesto during the assembly election. In the past four years, Congress has initiated various pro-development programmes to address the problems of unemployment and hunger,” he said.
Mahadevappa said factionalism and internal squabbles had caused BJP and JDS to lose the confidence of the people.
