Members of the Mysuru royal family have a reason to cheer as Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and Trishika Kumari are expecting their first baby. The couple, who got married a year ago, will become parents by September or October.

The adopted son of Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, Yaduveer is the biological son of Swarup Anand Gopalraj Urs and Tripurasundari Devi. Trishika Kumari hails from the Dungapur family of Rajasthan. According to sources, though the birth of the baby is expected in September or October, it won’t affect Naravatri celebrations that take place inside the palace or the celebrations conducted by the state government.
