CCB nabs KSOU staffer, uncovers marks card scam
MYSURU: City Crime Branch sleuths uncovered a marks card scam of the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and arrested a temporary employee, Prajwal. Police said they have evidence to provehis involvement.
Prajwal, who earlier worked in the KSOU examination section, could lead cops to the crux of the scam, which remained unsolved for nearly two years. CCB ACP C Gopal said Prajwal will be taken into custody to establish his links at the national level. Recently, Haryana police visited KSOU after they discovered fake marks sheets with a few aspirants of government jobs there. KSOU had lodged a police complaint against them. In Mysuru too, six youths who got jobs in the health department were booked for submitting fake documents of KSOU. Sources claimed Prajwal led a lavish life, and had an expensive four-wheeler.
